My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

See Juniper's short video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0bDX5PVyljw

Juniper comes to us from an overcrowded shelter where she arrived as a stray. Therefore, we have no history on her. We are estimating her age at 18 months and she weighs about 70 pounds.

This is a fairly active, athletic dog that does well with other large or medium size dogs. She is currently living with a small dog, but doesn't know how to tone down her play for the littles so we recommend she go to a home with larger dogs.

Juniper is good in a 4 foot high fence and needs to run big every day, if possible. She would be a great running companion or sports dog.

She is very affectionate with her foster mom and dad. We have not seen her with children. She has a fairly high prey drive so we are assuming she is not good with cats.

While in foster care we are working on Juniper's house manners. We still don't trust her not to get up on the kitchen counters when we aren't in the room, but we're working on it!

Juniper can be destructive with soft toys or dog beds and is also not a fan of the crate. She loves Kong toys, Nylabones and bones to chew on.

In her foster home she does appear to be housetrained and will whine to let you know she needs to go outside.

Juniper's adoption fee is $250 and includes spay, vaccinations and microchip.

If you are interested in possibly adopting Juniper, please complete an application located here:
