Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Oliver is a special needs baby. He has some pretty intense anxiety when in new situations. He definitely has some abandonment issues. He needs a family that is willing to commit to him for life. He doesn't do well with change. He needs a stable and calm life where he can be comfortable, happy, and loved. He does cry, get stressed, and can act out aggressively if he feels he's not in a safe environment. He has never bit anyone, and I don't think he would, but he will bark and growl to make himself seems scary because he's so insicure. He shows no signs of aggression if the person he's with makes him feel safe. Asode from that, he is a love bug! He loves being close. Snuggling is his favorite activity. He loves other dogs and would probably do best in a home with a well balanced dog to show him how to be independent. The ideal home would be one with no kids (kids have too much energy and he gets anxious), a dog friend or two, and with someone who doesn't work long hours and doesn't travel a lot. I know his bio may seem a little scary, but I can promise he's a sweet boy just looking for security. Once he feels safe, he is a loving lap dog. In order to be considered, you must have experience with special needs dogs with anxiety. While we always take our dogs back if it doesn't work out, it would be extremely hard on him to be bounced around, so the goal is to find him a forever home who understands dogs like this.
