Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Yelowhe was born outdoors in a farm-like setting. He suffered an injury to his left rear leg, but did not see a vet for several weeks, during which time the leg became monstrously swollen from infection. The leg could not be saved and had to be amputated to save his life. We had to return to the vet shortly after surgery as he was having difficulty breathing. After a day at the vet he was not improving and had to be transferred to the Emergency Clinic, where he received a blood transfusion and where he remained at death's door for 3 days until they developed an antibiotic cocktail that conquered the infection. His recovery was a miracle and a joy. Now he is recovered and happy; his jumping distance is just a bit limited, Yelowhe does make a nasal sound with exertion: the sound is located in his head, not lungs - an extensive respiratory panal was also done, which found no infection. He was adopted by a gal that works at the vet (everyone fell in love with him BTW); unfortunately she discovered she has a severe cat allergy and had to give him back. Very sweet, playful kitty - a bit bonded to his foster, so will need a little patience while he adjusts to a new BFF.
