My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

RAVEN was surrendered to our shelter a few weeks ago by her original owner, who had taken an extra job and was gone from home for up to 12 hours a day; he felt terrible to have to leave Raven at home alone for those long periods of time, and decided it would be better for Raven to have an active family who had more time to spend with Raven. Raven is one of our faves here at our shelter! She is house trained, quiet, calm, and well-behaved. She enjoys meeting new friends, both human and canine, but she does not do well in a day-to-day life shared with another dog…Raven does NOT like to share her human caregiver or her toys and food with another dog on a daily basis. So we are looking for a special home for her with a family who is happy having only one dog. She adores children, and even tolerates cats! She is gentle and easy-going, and enjoys a low-key lifestyle. A safely fenced yard is required to adopt Raven.
