Let me tell you about this big guy. 1st of all he doesn't know he's big and when he tries to love on you it's a good possibility that if you are under 2 foot tall you're going to hit the floor with a bunch of kisses. When we pulled him from the shelter it was clear that he either didn't have good socialization or wasn't in the best of situations. He's overcome these issues though through structure but it's important to understand that he has some anxiety issues that need to be managed consistently. He has what is referred to as fear anxiety and a bit of separation anxiety at this point.

This boy gets along with most other dogs with the proper introduction. He also loves the kiddos! Every chance he gets he licks my son who is one year old. Capone is house broken and crate trained. He preferably will need a heavy duty kennel or to be kept in a safe place when you are not home due to his separation issues. He is very treat driven and loves to play with balls. mind you they don't last very long. He is truly a sensitive dog inside and out. You have to have a kind approach to him or at times he will pee to show that he is not trying to be dominant.

Like many beautiful blues, he has skin allergies that can easily lead to a skin infection if not addressed. Allergy testing may be a good thing for him in the future. Please don't let all that baggage keep you from trying to get to know him. Once you open your heart to this big boy, you won't regret it.
