Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hopper is a beautiful girl, full of frolic, fun and affection. This little girl is just one year old so technically still a pup. She is a busy and devoted girl who truly has more of a Parson Russell personality. Wherever her people are and whatever they are doing, she wants to be a part of it. She needs her people to understand she is a working breed, though, and needs to believe she is doing a job. Her intelligence can make her a little ware of new people so be prepared to take some time proving to her you are trustworthy.
Hopper gets along great with most other dogs but we do expect her people to do all dog to dog introductions properly as some could scare her at first. Cats are okay too. Kids? She's good with most respectful kids but we are looking for a home where any resident children are five years or older as she does get excited and jumpy.
Hopper loves to go on walks and responds well to corrections. She's also great in a crate for the night and for long trips.

All potential adopters are expected to complete an application and provide pictures of their yard, patio, and/or balcony making sure we can see the fence line and/or railing. The application can be completed and submitted from our website - throwmeabonedogrescue.org - the link is found of the Adoption Process page. Applications will be reviewed for approval before setting an appointment to come meet and possibly adopt the dog of interest. In addition, those who live in a rental property are expected to provide proof that they are allowed to have a dog where they live.
Each of our rescued dogs has been de-wormed if necessary, de-flea'd (with topical treatment if old enough, and by medicated bath if too young), spayed/neutered, microchipped, is up to date on shots, and has been fully examined by a veterinarian. In addition, each adopted dog comes with a starter baggie of the food it has been eating, a few treats for training purposes, a rawhide chew, a lead and collar, and a folder containing pertinent records.
