My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Burt is the sweetest and most laid back dog you will ever meet. He is typical beagle size and approximately 9 years old. He is blind and deaf, but he doesn't let this bother him one bit. He is happier than any hearing or seeing dog we have ever met. Burt loves to frolic around outside, but he will also sleep FOREVER if you leave him alone. You don't even know he is around most of the time. Burt has good house manners, is mild energy, and house trained. Burt has had a couple of seizures/head trimmers in the past and the source has not been able to be diagnosed. All of his test have came back normal. But he will need someone who will be vigilant with his medical needs and ready to remedy any issues that may arise. Burt is an absolute joy to be around. We will have to take great care in approving his home due to his special needs. He is currently being fostered in East Tennessee, but is available to be transported to the Asheville, DC, New York, and New England areas. Sorry, we are not licensed to place dogs in MA. Burt is up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative, microchipped, and neutered.
