My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet cute little Cookie! Poor girl has been through a lot! Only 6-7 months old (as of May 2020) and dumped at the shelter without a care :-(. Fortunately for her, MAS came to the rescue! She is a Lionhead mix and definitely needs time and patience to settle in and warm up. Cookie is NOT a match for young children. She IS a match for an experienced rabbit family who would like to cherish her and allow her to be her best bunny self! She is spayed and ready for her forever family.

We try to ensure the best possible match between animal and adopter. Remember that this is a lifetime commitment. You will be asked to sign a legal contract when adopting one of our rabbits and you must pay a fee of $75. per rabbit. This fee includes spaying or neutering. The fees go directly to the vet bill to cover medical care. Keep in mind the following points:
Rabbits must be housed indoors only.
You need to expect to provide the rabbit with a minimum of 30 hours of uncaged time per week.
Rabbits may not be declawed.
Indoor rabbits live an average of 8 - 10 years. We are looking for those special adopters who will make every effort possible to keep their companion for the entire life of the rabbit despite lifestyle changes (divorce, moving, etc.)
Rabbits may not be adopted as gifts. Please read about rabbit personality and care before applying. Thank you for your time!
