Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet June Bug! She is an almost 8 month old (as of June 2020) female Jack Russell Terrier who is searching for her fur-ever home. June Bug – who also goes by “Junie” among her closest friends – is a very sweet pup. She has a lot of energy and loves playing with her toys. Her favorite toy is her orange ‘chuck-it’ ball. Junie is a smart girl! She knows how to sit on cue and is very comfortable in her kennel. She is very affectionate towards people – she has SO much love to give! Junie will bring with her all of her toys, her kennel, and two comfy dog beds. She is happy and healthy and all her vet work is done. She is still a baby and will need a kind and patient owner. If you are going to be gone all day she is not the dog for you. Also, you must have experience with the JRT personality. Junie requires a home with no cats, no other dogs, and no farm animals or little critters. She will need a home with no kiddos either. Based on her personality and previous negative experience with kids, we feel like a home with no kids will be the absolute best fit for our girl and afford her the best chance of finding a forever placement. June Bug needs a securely fenced yard. A good vet reference and home visit are required to adopt her. Her adopter must be able to drive to the Columbia, Missouri area to get her. We will not ship her anywhere and we will not fly her anywhere. You must drive to pick her up. If you believe you meet the requirements to adopt our Junie, please complete the adoption application at russellrescue.com and someone will contact you. Junie’s adoption fee is $325.
