My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Red Rover, Red Rover, have Ruby come over. Yes, this stunning young female Coonhound/ Rhodesian Ridgeback mix is named Ruby and like any fine gemstone she needs a bit of polishing where her manners are concerned.
Ruby is very energetic playful dog. She loves being outdoors hiking in the woods, playing with other dogs, playing fetch and just basking in the sun. She is quite a character with her goofy personality and uncoordinated long legs. She will make you smile! Ruby is also a total love, she enjoys tummy rubs and cuddling on the couch.
She is housebroken, good on a leash when using a harness. She knows a few basic commands, but she needs to learn more. She has a tendency to jump up on people when she is excited. She is a strong confident dog who needs to be taught what is appropriate when interacting with people.
Ruby needs an experienced owner, a fenced yard and a dog friend who can keep up with her. Because of her jumping Ruby would not be good in a home with young children. She also cannot live with cats.
