My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Chance’s Story is one unlike any of our other dogs. Chance is from a small town called Hatillo Palma, in Dominican Republic. The last photo that we have included shows his living conditions when we found him. Because of his health it took some time to get him better and get him everything he needed before being cleared to travel to the United States.

Before arriving January 29th, 2020 to Miami, Chance spent his entire life on a chain. So once We picked him up it was very clear that he needed training, and a lot of it. Since his arrival he has been in Pembroke Pines, with our trainer. We have him in a ‘Board & Train’ program and his progress has been phenomenal!

He now understands certain commands, does very well on the leash, and is now able to understand when he needs correcting. With all his progress we feel confident that Chance is finally ready for the home environment that he’s never had. He is good with other dogs, but his play energy is intense so if Placed with another dog it would have to be a dog who matches his energy level. No cats preferred as we have never had cats around him. Chance would be better with older children, not toddlers because of his energy. Chance is a sweet boy, who is crate trained, and eager to please his human. He is still learning how to give and receive human affection since it is so new to him.

Please consider giving Chance the home and affection dogs like him dream of. He has come a very long way and deserves his happily ever after.
