Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Butch 5848 is a handsome 2-year-old male Lab mix. He is very friendly and outgoing. Butch is house and crate trained. He is good on leash. He knows the commands: sit, come, down, paw, and stay. He is an energetic boy who will need daily exercise and playtime. A big fenced in yard would be great. He is good meeting other dogs, like all dogs we recommend a meet and greet and a proper introduction if there is an existing dog in the home. He has been around his foster family’s grandkids and was good with them. He weighs 60 pounds and is full grown. This pup is microchipped. We believe you can always teach an ‘old’ dog new tricks so we highly recommend continued obedience training for this smart pup; it stimulates the dog's mind and establishes a good dog/adopter relationship. This pup, like all pups should be on heartworm preventative, an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. If you are interested in adopting this dog, and are already approved to adopt from our organization, please contact dogs@lastchanceanimalrescue.org with the pup’s name and ID number in the subject line.
