My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is Benton, one of 23 dogs that came to us from a hoarder situation. Benton is a dachshund mix male. He has been estimated to be around 4 years old and weighs 10 lbs.

Benton has a loving soul once he learns to trust his person. He is a happy boy in his foster home and not as shy or sad as his pictures seem to suggest. He just needs consistency and love to bring out the glow and go he has to offer.

Benton is heartworm negative, up to date on shots and neutered. He is kennel trained and potty training is a work in progress. Benton would make a great companion for any family grouping, as long as they are patient with him adjusting to their home. Please share, and let’s find Benton his new forever home.

Our adoption fee for most pups/dogs starts at $250, which includes current, age-appropriate vaccines, deworming, a free wellness exam, and by 5 months of age, spay/neuter with rabies vaccine at Robinson Rescue in Shreveport, LA.

Once we receive your adoption application, our Board will review it and get back to you as soon as possible. In some cases we are overwhelmed with applications, so please be Patient with us. we are Volunteers.. Once your app is approved we then require a nonrefundable deposit of $100.00 of the adoption fee, which will hold the puppy/dog until placement.
