SHARE our Bios and Video please! Gabby and her sister Abby are tabby girls looking for a forever home. They are part of RescueConnect Animal Rescue in Wilmington, NC
Gabby is the more “silly” reckless one. If she hears something is going on and she’s on the other side of the house, she’ll come flying in and crash it all. She will come and sit on the sofa with you and want to snuggly in your hair or lay across the back. She acts first and thinks later, and is always trying to escape outside! She is smaller and her coat is darker and softer than Abby.
Abby is the more “mature” sophisticated one, will sit with you on the sofa and watch TV, wants to be by your side and see what you’re doing around the house. She a bit larger than Gabby and the light colored one. Has beautiful eyes and big paws. She is reminiscent of an ancient Egyptian cat god.
They are both great with the dog resident in their foster home, love to run through the house and play games, great eaters and great with their litter box. They are such joys!!!
Gabby and Abby need a home big enough for running and playing and DEFINITELY NO OUTSIDE access. If they got out they would take off!!
We don’t know the whole story on Abby and her sister Gabby, but we do know this much backstory. One early Sunday morning, before daylight, they found themselves far from home, as they knew it, and were in a strange yard, and nothing or no one looked familiar.
A nice lady spoke softly and kindly to them and offered them some food, and soon, she was reaching out for help for these young sisters.
Her outreach found RescueConnect, who agreed these girls deserved a second chance, and the kind lady brought them to our vet, and a foster soon picked them up. They are safe, warm, with full bellies now. At night they dream of their forever home, and in it, they are together. Like sisters should be.
