Hi friend, I'm Gracie! A sweet but shy kitty who likes to be around people I know! I was rescued with my brother - Pete - when we were kittens. We had been up for adoptions a few times when our foster noticed when we got stressed out, one of our eyes started to get watery. She later found out that both of us have Viral Conjunctivitis. It's essentially saying we get stress-induced watery eyes. As you can tell in the photos, I look like a normal kitty! My right eye is a little pink on my eyelid and it stays like that most of the time. It doesn't lower my quality of life or even shortens my life span. What I have is supposed to be contagious, but none of my foster mama's kitties developed it. It may take just a little bit of time to warm up to you, but who doesn't take a little bit of time get used to a stranger? I love to walk around the room and chirp, my foster mama says it's adorable! I like to try and sit in laps, but I can take up a bit more than a lap full of space. Once I know and trust you, I will love to follow you around and demand attention! If you bring new people over, chances are I will hide but I will come back out once they leave. I get along great with other kitties, but I'm not sure how I will do with doggies. Hopefully, it will just take me a little bit longer to come around and nothing else. I promise, if you adopt me, I will love you forever! I'm still looking for one of those forever homes people always talk about. My question is: Will you adopt me so I can complete your family? If you are interested in adopting me, please feel free to fill out an online application and we can meet! Please keep in mind, I will be very scared at first. I haven't left my home since I was a kitten and will be scared at first. But once I trust you, I promise, you will not regret it!!
