Here's what the humans have to say about me:
**This dog is with Corridor Rescue in Houston, Texas**
Like a lot of our rescue pups, we’re not exactly sure what breed Harry is, but we do know this goofy playful boy is a ton of fun! He’s quickly become a staff favorite with his happy personality. Harry loves all the people and has done great in all his doggie playgroups.
Harry requires a strict vegetarian diet and allergy shots. He struggled with allergies for a long time, but he's finally found something that works, and it shows! Harry is a happy guy and his coat is all grown in; which was something that was lagging behind in his recovery due to the allergies.
Harry is now in a foster home and, as expected, he's doing awesome. He lives with 4 dogs and 4 cats. He also comes into contact with donkeys and horses and chickens and does well with all of them, also.
Harry is an amazing dog, but there are a few considerations with adopting him. He will need to be under the care of a veterinary dermatologist likely for life. If he has anything that's not on his strict diet, he will have an allergic reaction, causing a trip to the dermatologist. This is also a reason we do not believe Harry will do well in a home with children. As almost everyone knows, kids unintentionally (and sometimes intentionally) drop things on the floor, leave toys laying around, etc. And not only is Harry susceptible to allergic reactions, he is also susceptible to eating things he shouldn't. He's already had surgery to remove a rope toy he found somewhere from his stomach. He cannot have any toys, but can have Nylabone-type toys WITH SUPERVISION as he likes to chew. Harry's allergies require prescription food, prescription allergy injections and prescribed medicated baths. This will very likely be for life.
He is 100% worth all of this. He's a wonderful dog who loves his people and he's very easy to love. But, he does come with some caveats.
