My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My owner passed away and I found myself in doggy jail, I was all matted and uncomfortable when I got there. The shelter people got me a nice hair cut and got me all cleaned up and I feel much better now and full of spunk!
I love to go for walks and be outside soaking up the sun. I also love to play with all of my toys, I will toss them around and run after them to keep myself entertained. Once I am done playing I like to sit in my human's lap and take a little snooze. I do have a good amount of energy though so I am looking for someone who will exercise me physically and mentally.
I do have some dislikes: strangers...they are scary! Strange humans and dogs alike, no thank you! I will bark at strangers and if we are walking and I see a strange dog I will bark at them too so I would not do well living in an apartment setting with lots of people and other dogs around. I do not like to be picked up, paws on the ground please. If someone tries to put the moves on too fast I might try to nip to warn you, I am not shy about my feelings.
With all that, I really am a good boy. I do warm up quickly to my people, espeically if they have yummy treats. Once I know I am safe we are the best of friends and I will give you all the cuddles in the world! I hope I can find a forever family that will be patient with me, love me, and spoil me forever!
