Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hope is now accepting pre-adoption applications! We know her puppies will be adopted fast, but we don't want mama to be left behind.
Hope is around 2 years old, 35 pounds, and we believe to be some sort of Lab X Collie Mix. But, we cannot guarantee any breeds of our dogs. Hopefully we will have her DNA results back in the next 1-2 weeks!
Hope was saved from CHS, because the staff had a sneaking suspicion she was pregnant. They were certainly right! We had been wanting to commit to a pregnant dog for a long time and with quarantine it was perfect! He pregnancy and delivery were not easy. She had to go through a c-section after 24 hours of labor. Her puppies were much too large to deliver naturally. This was super tough on her body, but it never broke her spirit.
Hope's fosters say: "Hope is an absolute dream of a dog. She has been the best mama ever! She is so nurturing and that quality definitely carries over to her people. She is very loyal and always wants to be in your lap! She LOVES walks and has really come out of her shell. She would love a home with a backyard to lounge in and maybe some human kids to call her own. She is very tolerant and we could see her excelling as a family dog. She is a master sunbather and would spend all day outside on the back porch if we let her! She makes us feel very safe, because she is an alert barker, but when you tell her to stop she does. We are going to miss her, but she will be the perfect addition to someone's family!"
Hope is good with other dogs, cats and kids. She is spayed, UTD on vaccines, dewormed and microchipped. She is located in Auburn, AL and his adoption fee is $125.
To adopt Hope please apply here: https://forms.gle/ipUFeT4hVQQRPxFi9. After you apply please allow our adoption coordinator 24-72 hours to respond. When you are contacted, you will he told if your application is approved or not. If it is we will proceed with a meet and greet. After everyone has had a chance to do a meet and greet we will then proceed with the adoption to the selected family. If you comment “interested” that does not count as an application. The form must be filled out for you to be considered.
