Miss is just a big bag of mush. She loves her people, and enjoys being wherever they are. Her favorite pastime is to go riding in the car. Missy can be selective about her dog friends, so slow intros will help her get along. She also enjoys cuddling and a nice walk around the park. Missy just completed 12 weeks of obedience training. Here is what her handler had to say: Missy Missy is a loving and boisterous girl who loves to run around and play with any stick or toy, but is also happy to lay around on the couch or your floor. She is both food and toy driven, but probably more food motivated! She loves a good bone but since she's quite the piggy, she can get a little mouthy when taking treats. When feeding her treats, it's best to present her with the treat inside a closed fist, once she licks your hand, you can open it for her to take the treat. This will help to deter her from accidently nipping you while taking the treat. She is obedient and not only loves scent detection work but is also very good at it. She is a fast learner and knows a number of commands including sit, down, roll over, spin and will even grab a drink from the fridge for you! She loves to go on walks and play in the lake with a stick or a ball. She is potty trained, crate trained and will heel on a loose leash and sit automatically when you stop walking. While she does need a good walk or a run around in a yard every day, Missy would be just as happy to lay around and accept belly rubs and love from all.
