My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

**This dog is with Corridor Rescue in Houston, Texas**

Hi guys! I'm Tye! I love people. I love playing with toys! I love chasing balls or water bottles. I love swinging around a rope toy. I also like (short) walks and, well, napping.

I have heard many people describe me as a young dog in an old dog's body. And I think that's pretty accurate. I still enjoy running around and doing all the things the young pups are doing; I just do them for a much shorter amount of time. But, I know my time here is drawing to a close. I can feel myself getting a little more tired and I've heard people say that I've got a lot of white on my face (and body) now. Life got a lot better when I was rescued, but I still really wish I could find my forever home.

Tye is a kennel favorite. He's a really fun dog to be around, especially if you like to throw a ball. Tye will entertain himself swinging around toys and throwing them up in the air himself, but he really loves it if you'll throw the ball for him too. He is slowing down, as he's about 10 years old, but don't let his age fool you...he still has pep in his step.

Tye is a cancer survivor, not to mention surviving to about 7 years on the streets. He would like to soak up all the attention in his adoptive home as a single pet.
