My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Papaya (aka Penny) I am a very sweet girl who is looking for the right home. As a baby I had toxoplasmosis that left me with minor brain damage. Despite that, I have no major health issues...just a few quirks. When I get nervous I walk in circles and I have a tendency to look at you with my head cocked. Neither of these things cause me any discomfort, its just part of my personality! I don't like to jump too high because my balance is a little off but I'm ok being high if I have a couple steps to get me there.

I had to spend a long time in isolation because of my illness so it takes me a while to warm up to people. I would do best in a quiet house with no dogs or small children (I scare easily). I'm learning how to be a cat every day and I need someone who is patient with me. I am very sweet and when I'm in the mood, I love to be petted and have my belly rubbed. I am about a year old (as of 5/12) and I'm spayed and up to date on shots.
