My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Drake is a lovely, affectionate, playful boy who would love a forever family. He spent the first two years of his life in a family, but when he escaped their yard and ended up in a shelter, they never came to get him. This 3 year-old dude has been with several rescues but what he really needs is a family again.

Drake is a fantastic dog! He bonds tightly with his humans and loves kids! We have not tested him with other animals so we recommend him as the only pet in the home. He is house trained, crate trained, and LOVES going on car rides! He'd be your perfect sidekick!

Drake is healthy but could use some TLC. He is overweight and has some hair loss, so he needs some nutritious food and a couple daily neighborhood walks to get back in shape. He knows obedience commands and is good on leash (though he can pull sometimes, so should be walked by the grown-ups).

Since Drake gets attached to his family he would do best in a home where someone works from home. Can you make Drake your new walking buddy and BFF? Southern California adopters only. Thank you for sharing Drake with your friends!
