My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Axel is a 10 month old German Shepherd with super cute floppy ears. He came to our rescue from a very rural shelter in Chipley, FL and has been placed in a foster home in Daytona Beach.
Axel's personality is goofy and playful, he enjoys his time outdoors, with his people by his side. He will shower you with affection at all times.
The best family for him would be someone who works less than 8 hours a day and someone who has experience with the German Shepherd breed. Although Axel is very easy to handle, he is at that "teenager" age where his attitude could quickly change so he needs a leader that will guide him and help him grow into the beautiful adult. He is very cuddly and affectionate but will also bark at the door when he hears the door bell and he will bark at the people when they approach a car that he's in.
Axel has been around other dogs and cats and he will be wonderful around well behaved children. The only thing that scares him are children moving too fast or running up in his direction. Older children and a 6 foot fence are recommended for him.

His adoption fee is $250.
