Since our son was born Suki has been very anxious and nervous. We feel her quality of life could be better in a home with no children under 10. She was a rescue who was tied to a water heater and used as a breeder dog. She is very timid if left alone with people she doesnt know and will isolate her self under a bed or behind a toilet. Once she warms up she is very loyal and eager to please. She does well when left alone at home as long as she gets her energy out. We would prefer someone who has experience with terriers and rescue dogs. She isn't interested in other dogs or people on walks. Though, she seemed to start warming up to a relative's little dog. We dont think she has actually ever played with another dog before we owned her. She also doesnt mind cats and will not bother them. She absolutely loves swimming and playing chuck it. She can do a array of tricks, is great off leash. Absolutely no crate. If you even try to crate her she screams like someone is hurting her.
