Here's what the humans have to say about me:
WE LOVE SCARLETT! This beautiful dog was found in an empty house in SC with two other dogs, so they were dropped at a kill shelter by the neighbors. Scarlett is such a good dog. She seems to be between 9 and 12 months old and she is fast! She loves to play, run, and hike, so she will need a family who is ready to exercise her every single day. Although we can't know what her true mix is, we can see Scarlett is definitely a hound ; "A hound is a type of hunting dog used by hunters to track or chase prey." So she must have a TALL PHYSICALLY FENCED IN BACKYARD--NON-NEGOTIABLE. She is very sweet and fine with all people-adults, babies and kids alike. Scarlett is living with about 15 other dogs now and gets along with babies, kids, men and women alike. She has been spayed, is up to date on shots, microchipped, heart worm negative and ready to come home. Scarlett would just love another large active dog to play with, but it is not required. If Scarlett is the new buddy you've been waiting for, please copy and paste this link to your web browser to fill out our online application, https://www.jotform.com/form/200215767055148. Scarlett is ready for her new family and can come up north as soon as she is adopted! Her adoption fee is $475 and transport up north is an additional $125. For the sake of the dog, we will not adopt to families home temporarily for Covid, city dwellers or anyone without a fenced in yard. Please remember this is a daily 15 year commitment. We cannot be certain what her true mix is.
