My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet four-year-old and 10 pound Douglas the golden Chihuahua. The sweet boy came from a very sad situation. He lived in a hoarding house with over 70 other dogs. He originally came to the shelter extremely shut down and terrified. He is still timid but very sweet and is blossoming more every day. He is dog and cat friendly and showed no signs of aggression just needs time to warm up.

All of our dogs our are in foster homes. You must submit an application in order to set up a meet. We will contact you to chat more about the dog and make sure they're a good fit:
