Meet Murphy! This adorable boy, whose shelter name was Bruce, definitely captured our hearts at the shelter. One look into those gorgeous eyes, and we were done! He's a young boy - only about 15 months, and the perfect little size of 45 pounds. Just a wee little guy! Oh, and did we mention he's named for Eddie Murphy???
This beautiful young boy first came into the shelter on December 26 - the same day as Lucy!! He was adopt ed very quickly, and then returned on January 6th, when the adopter realized they atually needed to care for him! Only sort of kidding - so many people adopt dogs without considering the commitment, and then dump them the moment they are inconvenient.
But no worries - he'll never go back to the shelter again, 'cuz he's a CCM dog now! He is the most beautiful taupey color, and his eyes really are a showstopper. We think he's a pittie/weimeraner mix. He loves all the other dogs, he's great on a leash, and he is soft and gentle in his interactions. He would love a lap to crawl into - maybe it's yours?
