Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Zuma #5703 is a 1.5-year-old female, Pit mix. Zuma is wonderful lovable pup who is very well-behaved. She is crate trained and housebroken. She walks well on leash and is great in the car. She is smart and knows hand and voice commands. She knows sit, down, stay, and front. She is very food motivated. She did great with the teenage human gals in her foster home. She is dog selective and did great with the senior large dog in her foster home, but not with the adolescent dog. Probably best as an only dog or with a dog who is calm and respects her boundaries; a meet and greet is required if there is another dog in the home. She is fine meeting other dogs on walks. She is playful and goofy and vocal when playing with her toys. She is a resource guarder so she must be fed in the crate and any chew bones should be given in her crate also. She is an awesome dog, learns quick, just should not be around children or other dogs when eating. She weighs 55 pounds and is full grown. This pup is microchipped. We believe you can always teach an ‘old’ dog new tricks so we highly recommend continued obedience training for this smart pup; it stimulates the dog's mind and establishes a good dog/adopter relationship. This pup, like all pups should be on heartworm preventative, an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure!
