My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Finn has likely never lived in a home before coming to our rescue in January. He has learned sit and his manners have improved quite a bit but he will need an owner who will continue to work on his training. Though he is a short bully mix, he is 60lbs and can sometimes be a bull in a china shop and would likely do best in a home without small children as he may knock them over unintentionally.

Finn loves other dogs and loves to cuddle with them on the couch. When he plays he does play hard which is not always favorable with all dogs so we do not feel he would make a good dog park dog. Finn walks absolutely fabulous on a leash and enjoys daily short walks.

Finn is 4 years old, 60lbs, and was recently treated for heartworms. He is house broken, mostly crate trained, and an all around happy go lucky guy. He had not had the best life before being brought to Polk County Animal Services as a stray and we can’t wait to find him the perfect forever home.
