Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Stevie is looking for a new home after his owner, Karen, passed away unexpectedly. Karen was in her mid 50s with un diagnosed diabetes. Stevie and Spooky were with their mom for two days before police were called for a welfare check. Stevie and Spooky were understandably afraid but quickly warmed up to neighbors who volunteered to feed them while things were sorted out.
The building manager reached out to the now foster parents, since she knew they are animal lovers to see if they could help. In the short exchanges they had with Karen, they saw the love she had for her cats and they decided to help find homes for them and they called Fur Angels Rescue.
About Stevie: He is 4 years old and has been fully vetted. He is neutered, completely healthy, and tested negative for FIV and FeLV. He is initially a bit shy but so friendly and loving once he warms up you. All he wants is cuddles and will forgo treats for them. Stevie has never scratched or hissed at foster parents and is a total sweetheart. He gets along with other cats and is very curious. A neighbor close to Karen said he was also good with her dog but they haven’t tried introducing him to a dog. Stevie is playful at times and hasn’t caused any damage. Stevie has a broken tail but it doesn’t hurt him, it just gives him more character.
They are Bombay cats, meaning they are black with yellow eyes a mixture of Burmese and American short hair.
