My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lady is a darling 2 year old chihuahua mix who weighs 11 pounds. She is spayed, HW negative, UTD on vaccines, wormed, and microchipped. She gets along well with other small dogs, cats, and polite kids over the age of 6.

Lady is an affectionate little dog who is very intelligent and loves everyone. She wants a family who will engage with her and she will truly be a devoted companion to her special humans. She is a people pleaser and is truly a fun dog who will train quickly. She is potty trained to outside, and also knows how to use a dog door. She is also leash and crate trained. Lady came to us with some skin issues she developed from neglect, and this has now cleared up, with new hair growth coming in.

Lady can be quite a trickster and will need a family who can help her learn better manners. She will push open doors and gates, plus has impressive jumping and climbing skills. She will dart out the door to follow her beloved human. Because of this, we will require a FENCED YARD in her adoptive home, as well as an experienced dog owner who is home at least part time. NO EXCEPTIONS.

PLEASE NOTE: Because of her activity level, Lady will not be a good companion for an elderly person or a toddler.
