Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi! My name is Jeb, and I am from Kentucky. I think I am about 7 years old and I lived outside at my family's home. They had to move which made me sad because I had been with them since I was a puppy. They didn't have room for me so I went to a shelter. I caught a ride and landed with my foster family in VA.
My foster family lives near a Navy base, they fly a lot of things in the sky that are noisy, but they don't bother me a bit. Would you believe that my foster brother and sister don't like those thunderstorms and hide in Mom's shower!
Since I lived outside I must not have been house trained, but my foster Mom is working on that. I've had a few accidents, but am quickly learning to go outside. I also really like to counter surf and the trash can is really intreguing.
I love being inside with my family, and I even get to sleep on the bed with my human foster sister. I go all night without needing to go outside! I love to cuddle, and I actually will fall asleep standing up if someone is rubbing my head.
Would you pleeeaaassee consider adopting me? I have a lot of fun and loving years ahead, and would make a great companion. Just fill out an adoption application for me at www.americanbrittanyrescue.org!!
Foster Mom here. Jeb is a wonderful loving boy with an adorable face full of freckles. As Jeb said above, we are working on house training and inside manners. He is good with his foster brother and sister, although he is just learning to play with them. He loves stuffed or unstuffed toys, and he stays busy with a cookie filled Kong. He is calm, but is happy to see his breakfast and dinner bowl! He knows "sit" and will for his cookie. He also knows when he has done something wrong, and all I have to do is say "no" and he understands.
He has been around my 2 year old grandson and does fine. I have not had him around cats. He definitely will need a fence and enjoys watching for squirrels and rabbits. He loves going for a walk, but will pull on the leash.
He is up to date on all shots, and is heartworm negative and microchipped. Jeb is a really sweet boy who has plenty of years of love to give. He is eager to please and ready to love a forever family. Please consider adopting him.
History:
Jeb's owner were moving so they took him to a shelter and ABR rescued him.
