Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet the most energetic and eager to learn two-year-old Lab-Pointer mix girl- Kita! Kita was rescued from high-kill Clayton County shelter at the very last minute by Jillian of Training to the Rescue. Active and smart, Kita loves to be outdoors, exercise and loves to learn. Kita will keep you motivated to exercise and find adventures! Whether its running, swimming, hiking or training- Kita hasn’t found an activity she didn’t enjoy! Kita still has her puppy energy and needs you to continue the strong leadership and training she’s received from Jillian. She might be a great candidate for agility even. Kita is full-grown at 72lbs, likes to fetch and knows her basic commands. Since Kita is outgoing and large, we suggest no young kids as she can definitely knock a little one over. Kita gets along well with other dogs, prefers bigger dogs she can play with but is really most happy with just you and your attention. Kita is respectful of Jillian’s cat, but she often thinks she can play with them. Kita would love to attend advanced training with you and is quite eager to please. She is crate trained and house trained and great in the car. Kita is working on her leash skills and tolerant of all types of weather. Kita is affectionate in the house but up for any and all outdoor time. She would love older kids who could play fetch with her, teach her frisbee skills and be her BFF. Kita is spayed, vaccinated and micro-chipped. Her adoption fee is $300. To meet this handsome and charmimg Lab mix, please email Jillian at trainingtotherescue@gmail.com. To complete an application right now, go to raincityrescue.com/adopt. Kita can’t wait to meet you and get going on her new and forever family life! She’ll be the best companion for you after you enforce the rules and give her the combination of physical ability and structure she needs!
