My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Fantasy was rescued by a nice man who found her on his porch.  He fed her there for several days thinking she might return home or someone come looking for her.  She was advertised as found without any response.  TAL took her in to our rescue program since she had severely injured tail.  It is thought that she might have been hit by a car as her tail was so badly damaged that it required amputation.  Also one of her hips is dislocated.   By the time she was seen by a vet it was to late to fix the hip without surgery.

She is spayed, microchipped and current on vaccines.  She is a precious cat.  She loves human attention and is very affectionate and gentle.  She will make someone the best companion ever.

More about this rescue

Texarkana Animal League (TAL) is a group of volunteers that is dedicated to improving the welfare of animals in our shelter & community. We operate out of a facility where both cats and dogs are sheltered until they find their forever home. Some of our animals are also in foster homes.

Our mission is to provide protection and care for abandoned, abused, neglected and unwanted companion animals. We also want to promote animal welfare through programs and services that mutually benefit animals and people.

All proceeds benefit animal care and adoptions, and assist with our community outreach programs such as a low-income spay/neuter assistance program (SNAP), as well as educational and service projects to assist TAL's belief that all animals are deserving of life, respect and care.

In 2017, we altered almost 300 animals in the community with our SNAP Program.
