Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Rocco was taken to the shelter by the only family he ever knew. We don't understand it! This sweet senior boy is always smiling! We couldn't let him die in a shelter!
Rocco loves to participate, and wants to go wherever you go! He is great in the car and loves to join you on errands. He is a strong boy so he'll require someone who can deal with him pulling on his leash walks. (Kids should be 12 or older.) We think his family kept him outdoors, but he seems house trained.
Rocco is currently in boarding with a trainer and gets several walks each day. He loves the outdoors and visits from friends who take him on long hikes in the hills. Though he is thriving, he would really love have a family of his own once again.
Rocco has had 2 masses removed and has a cataract in his right eye. So of course finding a home for a dog like Rocco – medical issues, senior (he’s 10), large (68 lbs), and needs to be the only pet – isn’t easy. But we have to believe there’s someone out there who sees his sweetness and zest for life! Because of this, Best Friends is willing to cover expenses (including medical!) for the right forever family!
