My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello Merit family, this is Kieran! I wanted to give you an update on my life. I no longer live in the tattoo shop; I have my very own foster people! I’m so happy about that because everyone I’ve met says that I am an awesome dog, whatever that means. I now get to do more things, like going for walks. I didn’t know how many things are out there to smell! I also hang out in my very own room and foster mom says I’m great being by myself. She leaves the crate open and I just hang out on the couch. At night she will put me in the crate and I don’t make a peep because I feel very safe in there. Foster mom says I have a funny “wiggle run” because I get excited to be with people, but I don’t jump on them, I have very good manners.
I’m getting used to the world, so I’m very cautious on my outings because some things are a little scary, especially thunderstorms and loud noises, so please be gentle with me. Did I also mention that I LOVE to go for rides? Car rides are the life! I prefer to live my life with just me and my foster people because sometimes other dogs can intimidate me. However, if I’m on walks and they ignore me, I have no problem ignoring them too! Foster mom says I need to be in a home with no small animals (what people call cats) because they look like tasty treats to me. I’m a very easygoing girl and if you want a nice laidback dog who likes to be with people, take for a car ride, has a fun personality and snuggle on the couch, I’m your girl.
