Meet Adoptable Cali! Being DEAF does not stop this girl from being the best companion that anyone could ask for! Cali is a very sweet girl that loves to be by your side, whether it is on the couch or in the car going for a ride. She loves to ride! She gets along well without knowing much about hand signal commands but could certainly benefit by being worked with to learn more about them. Cali came into rescue as a surrender from an over the road truck driver. He stated that she did not get along with his other dog but she gets along well with the foster's dog. She also does well with the cats in the household. Cali will occasionally make a game of a bit of chase with the cats but is redirected easily to stop. Her foster mom says it appears she just wants to play. Due to Cali being deaf, we would rather children be at lest 6 yrs old. She does very well with the foster's 9 yr old daughter. Cali is 4 1/2 yrs old, weighs 57 lbs, is housebroken, spayed, vaccinated, microchipped & crate trained.
