Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Valentine’s Day 2019 so she is still a young girl who loves to play with her foster dog siblings and foster parents. She doesn’t really understand how to play fetch and new toys can scare her at first, but she loves chew bones, playing tug of war and keep away with softer toys. Junie was surrendered by her owner that was moving and couldn’t take her. Since coming to her foster home, she is learning so many new things and how to be a dog. Junie is learning things like how to walk on a leash with a harness (she is not a big fan of having a leash on her collar and pressure around her neck), how to sleep in a dog bed (she prefers the bed, but is only allowed on it for morning snuggles), how to eat out of a dog bowl, how to not be scared of new people and kids (young kids are still scary…they move so quick), and how to not be scared of loud noises (storms are scary, but not as scary when she is one her foster parents laps).
Junie liked her foster mom immediately, but it took a couple weeks for her to warm up to her foster dad too, now his lap is her favorite spot. When Junie gets scared of new people, she growls and/or runs away (stranger danger, right?) , but if she sees the other dogs like someone she will calm down…though it will take a while for her to let new people pet her…Junie’s trust needs to be earned. Junie is super soft and loves puppy massages, cuddling on the couch watching movies, helping in the garden and just being near her people. True to her shepherd nature, Junie does try to break up dog scuffles, will bark at other dogs that are too rowdy and will protect her people by barking when people come to the door. Junie knows how to use a doggie door and is almost completely housetrained (her previous owner trained her to use puppy pads, so sometimes she gets confused and pees inside especially when raining/storming). Junie would do best with a home with a fenced yard, had another dog(s) to play with, no small children, and a home that loves doggy cuddles.
All dogs adopted are spayed/neutered, vaccinated including Rabies if over 14 weeks, microchipped, fecal tested, heart-worm tested if over 7 mo at arrival, flea/heartworm/tick preventative given monthly. Dogs are in foster homes in various locations but we are located in Columbia, TN. All dogs can be transported for free to adopters in the US and Canada.
