Here's what the humans have to say about me:
* COURTESY POST FOR INDEPENDENT RESCUER/FOSTER:
Meet Mr. Marley!
He's a cute, fun, playful kind of guy who gets along great with other cats. He was born on the streets before a TNR Project volunteer was aware of the colony he was in. Our volunteer swooped in and not only TNR'd the whole colony, she pulled a few kittens to give a better life to. Marley was one of the lucky ones. He had a cold from being cold outside and he wasn't very big, due to lack of food available. Once he was inside, he blossomed into the handsome young guy he currently is!
Marley hasn't been around dogs. Most street cats have a healthy awareness of coyotes who frequent the streets scouring for any type of of food (usually cats). He could probably be slowly introduced to a well-behaved dog, once he has bonded with you. He is good around kids and excellent with other cats!
FACT: 80-90% of all cats in the shelters are from the streets. This is why we volunteer after work and perform TNR weekly for colonies of stray & abandoned cats to end the breeding. This is the only humane & effective way to stop the overflow/overpopulation of cats. This is how we will be able to take our shelters to No-Kill status.
Please help us share Marley across social media, friends & family to help him find a wonderful home where he will be safe & loved...where he won't have to search for food or warmth again.
