Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Richard Rowdy Squiggly III (Rowdy) is a male beige chihuahua. He is about 5 years old and he weighs 7 pounds. Rowdy is neutered and vaccinated including rabies. He tested heartworm negative and is receiving monthly heartworm prevention. Rowdy came to rescue with a seriously skinned front right leg that has healed quite a bit but a spot on his foot is still healing. Rowdy is ready for adoption.
As with many chihuahuas, Rowdy considers himself a one person dog. In a multi person home HE will decide who his person is, and he will merely tolerate the other people. Rowdy likes the other people fine as long as they do what he wants them to and they let him do what he wants to do. Luckily Rowdy is pretty smart and well-behaved in the house, so he can usually be allowed to do as he pleases. Rowdy doesn’t need much. A couple of meals a day and a comfy “spot” is about it really. He loves to be carried, but Rowdy will walk on a leash too. He adorably dances around on his back legs to get attention. Rowdy needs to be in a home with adults only. One adult is ideal but more is fine as long as you understand his quirks. Rowdy is fine with other dogs.
