Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Adorable Coconut...Coconut and his brother Clover were rescued by a Good Samaritan that found them behind a store in Athens, OH. Eventually, the Good Samaritan passed them on to PetPromise after starting their vaccinations and having them neutered. They wanted the kittens to be properly socialized after being born in the wild. They were extremely fearful when arriving to their foster home - but have done great getting used to kids, a dog and an older cat. Coconut will tolerate you picking him up and holding, as well as forced lap time - but doesn’t generally come to you.
Coconut enjoys hanging out with his brother Clover. They love wet food and are eager to be fed. They are a joy to have around!
Coconut's adoption fee is $80. Please complete an online adoption application at petpromise.org/adoption-application if you are interested in adopting Coconut.
We do our best to ensure that all of the PetPromise pets and their new owners are the perfect match, so the adoption process includes a mandatory home visit; for that reason, adoptions outside Franklin County, Ohio and contiguous counties may not be possible.
PETPROMISE DOES NOT HAVE A SHELTER. Our pets are housed in volunteer foster homes while awaiting adoption.
PETPROMISE HAS NO PAID STAFF. The people processing applications are volunteers with full-time jobs and families, so it may be several days before you receive a response to your application.
