Pepper is a super friendly terrier mix who was born at our rescue in October 2017. She is the only puppy we have left from her litter and it is time to find her the perfect forever home. Pepper loves attention and would not mind being the only pet in the home. She gets along with some other dogs (but not all) and seems to do well with cats. She loves going on walks and playing in the back yard. She is up to date on shots, spayed and microchipped.
How to meet our pets available for adoption:
We are a small rescue operated 100% by volunteers. As a result, we must coordinate meetings for our pets by appointment only. Please contact us at PuppyPimps@gmail.com to set up a time to come meet our rescue pets. Typically the most convenient times for us to set up visitor appointments are Monday - Friday from (approximately) 6:30PM till 8:30PM and on weekends before 11AM and/or after 5PM. However, if necessary, other visiting times may be arranged.
How does the adoption process work?
First we will arrange a mutually convenient time for your family to come visit us at the rescue. Together we will meet with the dog or dogs you are interested in. If we are all in agreement, the next step would be to set up a home visit. This is when we would bring the pet to your home for a visit. Once an adoption is approved, the final step is the adoption paperwork and coordination of the date the adoption will take place.
What are your adoption requirements?
In order to be eligible to adopt one of our dogs, we strongly prefer you are a homeowner because despite how cool your landlord is today, it is very difficult to find dog friendly rentals in South Florida.
Frequently Asked Questions:
Q: What is the purpose or mission of the rescue?
A: Puppy Pimps Animal Rescue is a 501c3 public charity dedicated to rescuing at-risk dogs. We provide high quality care and a comfortable living environment while actively attempting to find loving, responsible, and well-matched forever families. We also strive to promote responsible pet ownership and a positive image of bully breeds within our community, and be a resource to our neighbors in need by providing them with educational information, food, and access to affordable veterinary care.
Q: Are you a non-profit organization?
A: Yes. Puppy Pimps Animal Rescue is a 501c3 public charity, as recognized by the IRS. Our EIN number is 27-2974789
Q: What are the benefits of working with a rescue when adopting a dog?
A: As a private rescue, we are able to take the time to really get to know our rescue pets. While the shelter workers have good intentions, the sheer volume of pets they have to handle on a daily basis does not allow them the opportunity to get to know the dogs’ individual personalities like we can at the rescue.
Q: Where can we find you on social media?
A: Yes. We can be found on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/puppypimps/ Instagram https://www.instagram.com/puppypimps/ and Twitter @PuppyPimps
