Meet Sweet James!

He was either born or dumped at a school in Pomona. A wonderfully kind teacher took him in when nobody else would do anything and fostered him. She worked with him and taught him what love, a full belly and a comfy, dry bed was. Her other cats were not big fans of his and he had a hard time adjusting.
This handsome guy is a little on the shy side because of that. He became the guardian of a new litter that came in. He became best buddies with a little female named Daisy. (See pic) They snuggle, sleep and play together all the time. She has brought him further out of his shell. We would love it if they could go together into a home with no other cats so he can thrive and grow. He’s wonderfully sweet with people and just needs a little time, a little patience and a new place to be himself.

We rescue street cats like James and fix colonies so they are no longer breeding & abandoning kittens which flood our shelter system. James is a statistic and we’re trying to change that with TNR.
