Lucky #5576 is a handsome 1-year-old Pit mix. He is a fun loving, goofy pup seeking a family of his very own. He is house and crate trained and although strong, good on leash. He knows the sit command and is very food motivated. He doesn’t seem to know his own size yet and for that reason, we would recommend a home without toddlers as he may inadvertently knock them down. He has spent time with a 5-year-old and aside from a few stolen slobbery kisses he did very well. He has been around other dogs and shown little interest. A proper introduction is required, if going to a home with another pup. He is a beautiful boy who deserves a family to tell him how handsome he is daily. He weighs 70 pounds and is full grown. He could stand to shed a few pounds, but couldn’t we all? This pup is microchipped. We believe you can always teach an ‘old’ dog new tricks so we highly recommend continued obedience training for this smart pup; it stimulates the dog's mind and establishes a good dog/adopter relationship. This pup, like all pups should be on heartworm preventative, an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure!
