My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Buttercup is around 1 year old and somewhere between a medium and longhair kitty, who is mostly white with some beautiful calico markings. She is a so tiny at around 4-5 pounds. Buttercup was pulled from Lee County’s Animal Control system. She is positive for FHV-1. This will not cause any day to day difficulties and she will be able to live a normal life. She may have more upper respiratory infections than a normal cat, but living inside with stable conditions with minimize that risk.

Buttercup’s foster describes her as, ”Buttercup is such a sweetheart! When she first came to our home, she was an emaciated, sick little girl. All she wanted to do was sleep and be left alone. After some medication and TLC, she has blossomed into a beautiful, playful, affectionate cat! She is very vocal and loves to let you know what’s on her mind. She is absolutely obsessed with any type of ball and will roll it around the house for hours. But most of all, she loves attention. She loves to be pet and snuggle. She is also obsessed with her foster brother and loves to roughhouse with him. Buttercup is full of sweetness and love and whoever gets to grab her up is one lucky person!!”

Buttercup is great with dogs and would be good living with another cat with FHV or no other cats. She is spayed, UTD on shots, dewormed, UTD on preventatives and microchipped.
