My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Kendra is a young adult who came from a rural Kentucky Shelter. She is a domestic short hair, brown tabby with unique orange markings splashed throughout her coat. You really can't tell in pictures just how beautiful she really is. She's a little thing and having been rescued, she's still trying to figure out what having food, shelter, and love is all about! She's definitely shy at first, and will pretend to hiss, but she warms up quickly if you speak to her in a soft voice. Once she trusts you, she loves to be petted! She is likely to need a slow introduction and transition to a new home where she can't hide for a bit before introducing her to the whole house. She would do great as an only cat or if there is one other cat in your home that is laid back and non confrontational, a slow introduction would be best.

All HART kittens and cats are vet checked, combo tested, spayed or neutered, up to date on all vaccines, microchipped, and on flea and tick preventative.

If you are interested in any of our kitties, you must complete an online cat adoption application available at www.rescueahart.org/adopt/cat-application. The application will put you in touch with a HART volunteer. Thanks!
