Here's what the humans have to say about me:
My name is Cocoa and I'm 3 years old. I'm a small mix of Chihuahua and Boston Terrier. I weigh about 10Lbs but I won't let my foster mom weigh me just yet. You see, I have been very scared and hid under the couch for my first 4-5 days before I was comfortable to venture out. Now I am running all over the place cause they have toys, food, water and blankets for me. I love to snuggle in the blankets and follow my foster brother around. He has shown me how to use the grass as the bathroom, who knew that's what it was there for? I am mostly potty trained but my foster sister needs puppy pads so I will go on those at night. I will sleep well in my crate but good luck catching me to go in there. I would rather just sleep in bed with you or sleep on a couch, chair, dog bed or even the laundry basket my foster mom has caught me in. I'm still a little skittish but warming up to the idea of letting you touch me. Just today I decided to sit in the chair next to my foster mom, I curled up in her blanket and slept. But seriously, just look at my ears and try not to fall in love.
Our standard adoption fee is $295 cash or check and $300 credit card ($5 processing fee). It includes spay/neuter when age appropriate at our participating vets, age appropriate core vaccinations, fecal testing, deworming, flea and tick preventative,1st vet visit at one of our participating vets, and micro-chipping.

Please note that the breeds and sizes posted in this biography are educated best guesses and are not guaranteed.
Please consider becoming a foster home while you search for your new best friend. We need foster homes - pounds are overflowing with puppies and adult dogs that are at-risk and need help. We can only rescue as many as we have foster home commitments. Fostering is a rewarding experience for your family.
