This sweet boy was given up by his owner when he moved, and to this day, Jack stares at every pickup that comes by, hoping it’s his owner coming back to get him. It breaks our hearts because he deserves better, and he has so much of his life ahead of him. Jack is a Boxer/Australian Shepherd mix, 7 years old, weighing 60 pounds. He’s an affectionate love-bug, so we’re looking for someone who’s at home most of the time and can give him the attention he’s missed out on since his owner left.
Jack’s almost the perfect dog—housebroken, healthy, good with other dogs (though he prefers females), and energetic for his age (though he knows when to calm down and loves to chill out too—sometimes by wading in his small swimming pool).
