My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Furby, I'm a little shy but I can't get enough of being pet. If you pet me long enough, I will do a little dance purring as I make biscuits for you. My favorite thing to do is chase feather teaser toys with my friends, but if one is not availine, I will just chase one of my friends until we fall asleep.

Our required adoption donation is $150 per kitten or $125 per cat (older than 9 months). All our rescues are up to date on shots, microchipped, tested for FIV/FeL. They are dewormed, treated for parasites and free of fleas. Each is spayed or neutered and given a rabies vaccination. An application must be completed to be considered to adopt from Stray HELP. You can complete the application from our website OR you can pick up an application at Poughkeepsie Petsmart.

We raise our rescues in foster homes and are familiar with their individual personality. They are accustomed to people, phones, radios and tv; all the noises of home life. We work with perspective parents to find their perfect match.
