My story

Ziggy is an almost 3 yo rescue from a breeder who presented blind. He gets around great like a Roomba! He is sweet, funny, smart and well mannered boy who loves to play and run in a wide open space! He is just as happy going on a sniffari or hanging out.

About 3 months ago we noticed some fear based aggression when visitors would come over. He can startle when sleeping or on walks if his boundaries are not respected. We are working with trainers and a behaviorist with success however, we have 2 active boys and although he loves them he seems a bit overwhelmed by the energy at times. He is on medication and responding well. We are very attached and feel we have been very invested the last 7 months since adopting him. Our boys are 11 and 14 and do not quite understand his needs at this time. It is a very hard decision as he is family and brings us so much joy!
He would do best in a calm home without kids and maybe a companion dog.
